John Lloyd with Liz in New York?

The “In My Life” shoot in New York with Vilma Santos and Luis Manzano is now over but John Lloyd Cruz decided to extend his stay up to May 19. The reason he gave is he’s taking a vacation. He’s returning on May 20. Is he going to meet Liz Uy there to take a much-needed vacation with Liz?

Liz is in Paris, France on a holiday with Anne Curtis, Isabel Diaz, Georgina Wilson, Bea Soriano, and Raymund Gutierrez. John 
Lloyd asked Liz to go with him to New York but Liz refused as he had to work. Liz proved to be correct. John Lloyd shoot schedule was hectic as ¾ of the full-length feature had to be shot in New York. Could it be possible they decided to meet in New York now that he’s no longer busy so they can have an intimate time?

Both John Lloyd and Liz have refused to comment on the issue about their breakup. Liz broke off with John Lloyd in February due to an unspecified reason. Two names, however, have been identified as the cause of the split, Ruffa Gutierrez and Sarah Geronimo. 

Ruffa was supposed to have been spotted in a five-star hotel with John Lloyd. Ruffa explained that the only time John Lloyd and her were together in a hotel was during the “I Love Betty La Fea” thanksgiving party together with the rest of the cast. John Lloyd fits Ruffa's  love for younger men like ex-husband Ylmaz Bektas. Although they share the same birthday, June 24, Ruffa’s nine years older than Johhn Lloyd. She denied the speculation. 

Sarah cannot be faulted for trying to snatch John Lloyd from Liz. It was more for taking away John Lloyd’s time from Liz in a professional sense that she’s being accused as having caused the breakup. As she has consistently shown in the past, Sarah’s not boy-hungry. She might find John Lloyd cute or even have a crush on him, but she’d dare not enter into a relationship with him, specially that he’s older. There’s a five years age difference between them; Sarah’s 20 while John Lloyd is 25.

What’s the most probable cause of the split? John Lloyd’s lack of time for Liz. 

John Lloyd takes life seriously and least likely to have a double-time romance. Liz was fed up with his busy schedule that did not allow them to have quality time. February was a stressful time for the heart squeezes. Promoting “You Changed My Life” with Sarah and taping “I Love Betty La Fea” with Bea Alonzo with his reel girlfriends, Sarah and Bea Alonzo respectively, John Lloyd lost real time with his true sweetheart. Liz had so much time on her hands being a lean month for stylists like her. She did not understand or got fed up understanding the situation. She told John Lloyd she wanted out.

John Lloyd has been trying to win Liz back like giving her peace offerings. Kris Aquino’s report of seeing John Lloyd bring Liz her favorite cake was actually an offering to melt her decision that she wanted out. It did not work. Liz wouldn’t budge on her decision.

Liz laughed off the question if there’s a third party involved.
