Willie to build P400 million studio-mall complex

“Wowowee” host Willie Revillame is building a studio-mall complex in the lot he bought with an existing building across the audience entrance of the ELJ Communications Center, the new ABS-CBN building.

Costing P400 million, Willie’s build a 10-storey building as designed by Architect Willie Gan. It will house a theater, a studio, a mall, office spaces for rent and a penthouse which will be his residence and office.

This lot was not the original site that Willie wanted to build an office-mall complex. For nostalgia reason, it was a lot with an old building in Morato Ave. where he used to live when he was still down and out. It did not push through as Willie wanted to pay only P70 million from the owner’s asking price of P80 million.

Where will Willie get the P400 million to build the mall-office complex? Of course, loan it from banks.
