Manny's not Kapuso but Kapera
by: Edgar O. Cruz | STIR Editor (Chief Agitator)

Manny PacquiaoSTIR reported Manny Pacquiao returned to ABS-CBN because of money. And he returned to GMA because of money too. That’s why he’s being tagged now not as Kapuso but Kapera.

Manny, not being able to stand firm on his decision, shows a major character flaw. It’s enough to conclude he has a wishy-washy attitude and that will not be easy to remove in people’s mind. He did it not twice but thrice already, which shows him as a poor decisionmaker and an opportunist. Probably he’s up against the wall with his contract with Solar Sports but it shows a big flaw in his decision-making ability. When you’re a celebrity planning a political career, you don’t do that. It's terrible public relations. But that’s probably beyond Manny to understand.

Being wishy-washy, however, is more forgiveable than being heartless.

Whoever advised him not to talk to ABS-CBN’s Dyan Castillejo who wanted an on-cam interview before or after his training in the Wild Card Gym in Los Angeles probably suffers from the same. His action is a cruel betrayal of an avid supporter regardless if she works with GMA’s rival network. He did not talk to Dyan despite waiting for him to finish the long training. He just ignored her. It would have been better if he talked to Dyan and told her on-cam if he can be excused as he had been told not to give an interview.

Breaking buzz: Lea Salonga wants to sing the Philippine National Anthem in Manny’s fight with Ricky Hatton but Martin Nievera beat her. But the big question is if Martin will bring Manny luck as he has not been lucky with a male doing it.

i guess ok lang naman yung gusto ni manny magkapera kc he's looking after his interest and sa totoo lang madami din naman syang tinutulungan na tao.. so yung perang makukuha nya ay binabahagi nya pa...

It's a business deal to begin with, so of course it's about money. Manny is just protecting his interests and he's being smart. How many times have we seen boxers who end up in the slums after their fighting career is over? According to Manny, ABS-CBN prematurely released the video of his decision to transfer. I'd rather take Manny's work against ABS-CBN's. Stop tainting the issue with network wars and leave Manny alone to train.
